I am a self taught knitter, still very definatly a beginner but enthusiastic non the less. I love baking and cooking in general when time allows which isn't very often. Catch up with my slow progress into the world of Crafts and maybe find some inspiration to get you motivated, or rekindle that creative spark.
Knitting Progress
Ok, this one is a triumph I think. Admittedly its just 4 squares or variations of but it is the first piece of clothing I've ever made. I am very proud although credit must go to Debbie Bliss for her easy to follow pattern and scrumptious yarns.

Adventures in Knitting
I've always wanted to learn to knit and even bought a book of baby knits for beginners by Debbie Bliss (click here to see the book) when I was pregnant with Poppy. However as with many of my brilliant ideas Poppy reached her third birthday with me doing no more than drool over the book and fantasise about the kind of mother I could be, if only I wasn't so idle.
